Course description:
The CICE program at Fanshawe College is designed for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and other significant learning challenges. The students will work with learning facilitators that will provide support, assistance, tutoring, and other modifications or help in courses based on the student's strengths and/or goals.
The program will provide students with opportunities to enhance their academic skills through typical college classes, while developing vocational abilities through career-related field placement opportunities.
Some elective program areas at Fanshawe College include Culinary, Photography, Recreation and Leisure, Early Childhood Education, and Office Administration. Then, they will take eleven courses in that program, six CICE seminar courses, and complete three field placements throughout the two-year program.
Students will graduate with an Ontario College Certificate in CICE along with hands-on experience in their desired career path.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario Secondary School Certificate (OSSC) where curriculum modification was required OR Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) OR Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) OR Mature Applicant with appropriate preparation
