Programs:

Learning Independence for Future Empowerment (L.I.F.E.): A program that provides a learning environment for young people with disabilities who are transitioning into adulthood to expand their social and professional skills while practicing the daily responsibilities of adulthood.

📅Length: This program is 4-5 days each week (between 1-5 hours each day)
depending on whether clients choose in-person or virtual. Each program session is 10 weeks. Individuals can be in the program for up to 4 sessions (1 year). -

Have a disability

Be able to direct your own care (If not able to direct your own care, able to bring a support worker or caregiver who can assist with care)

Be between the ages of 18-30

Be able to use Zoom or have a caretaker who is able to use Zoom.

March of Dimes is a great option because it runs on a hybrid model, teaches social and professional skills, and currently does not have a waitlist!
